Play video Description ‘Nexus’ is a drama that tackles the impact of COVID on young people’s mental health. It is based on research by Dr Lindsay H Dewa of Imperial College London and was co-produced by young people, who were involved in the initial research from Imperial College London. The film tells the story of a young man’s struggles with bulimia nervosa during lockdown. Through a combination of being physically detached from his friends and living on the wrong side of the digital divide, he falls into a downward spiral. His salvation comes in the form of a profound act of kindness.
