Neighbourhood Health: Community Engagement Awards – Successful Projects Announced

The Burdett Trust for Nursing has awarded over £78,000 through its Neighbourhood Health Engagement Awards, supporting a diverse range of nurse led projects working alongside communities to reduce health inequalities and improve access to care.

“Nurse led, neighbourhood approaches have the potential to transform health, enabling people to stay well for longer. This happens when communities are partners, not just recipients.”

Clare Cable, Chief Executive

The Neighbourhood Health Engagement Awards continue to enable nurses to test new approaches, strengthen community relationships, and develop models of care grounded in local need and lived experience.
