New Grants Programme: High Impact Interventions – Chronic Respiratory Diseases (CRDs)
From 1 August 2023, Burdett Trust will accept grant proposals for nurse-led interventions that will support a reduction in hospitalisation, morbidity and mortality due to chronic respiratory diseases (CRDs)
Grants awarded within this programme will typically be between £50,000 and £100,000.
Nurses are at the forefront of the delivery of care and support to individuals with CRDs from prevention to the provision of end-of-life care. They are well-placed to deliver respiratory research that is firmly embedded in clinical practice and to lead, deliver and coordinate inpatient, outpatient, and community-based interventions designed to prevent and reduce the impact of CRDs.
